Supervisor - Control Room

Role Details:

Gold Fields Ghana is currently looking to hire a skilled and qualified individual for the role of Supervisor – Control Room. This position reports directly to the Shift Supervisor. The incumbent will be responsible for executing daily routine work according to plans and perform other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.

About the role:

• Executes daily routine work according to policies and procedures within prescribed guidelines.
• Always ensure good housekeeping
• Responsible for all the control systems in each circuit
• Prioritize work in a responsible manner.
• Report all security and unsafe act to the supervisor.
• Ensures cohesiveness of a team.
• Maintains a safe and friendly working environment.

• Should be in the capacity to relieve the shift supervisor when necessary

About you:

• A minimum of Senior High School Certificate from a recognized institution

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a gold processing plant.
• Must be competent in analytical literacy, networking skills, auditing and statistics understanding.
• Must have the ability of understanding team building, and OHSS
• Must have the ability to ensure internal locus control.
• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal, written and listening skills
• Ability to use initiative, take responsibility and manage tasks through to completion
• Organized with an ability to plan and prioritize own workload and able to organize others
• Anticipates, plans and reacts quickly & flexibly to changing circumstances
• Open, honest & reliable
• MINCOM competency certificate
• A valid Ghanaian driving licence is an advantage
