Role Details

Gold Fields Ghana seeks to employ an experienced and suitable individual for the position of Senior Plant Operator.

The incumbent will be responsible for executing daily routine work according to plan, coordinating and adhering to set controls in accordance with metallurgical standards and procedures.

About the role:

• Ensure area of operation is under control in accordance with operating procedures
• Ensure all circuits are free of hazards
• Report any anomalies regarding the circuit equipment to the Supervisor
• Report all security and unsafe act to the supervisor
• Ensure good housekeeping and safety practice
• Ensure compliance with the highest standards in terms of safety ISO 14001 & 45001 requirements

About you:

• Minimum of Junior High School Certificate
• Minimum of three (2) years’ experience in a similar position
• Basic knowledge of External reagent standard operating procedures
• Knowledge of CIL process plant reagent preparation and safe transfer
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills as well as ability to interact with people of diverse culture
• Must have a hands-on approach and be willing to commit to obtain the required results
• Mobile equipment license and mine permit will be an added advantage
