        Role Details

Gold Fields is seeking a Coordinator - ICT Asset Operations to support the delivery of reliable, secure and resilient ICT services across its operational environment. Reporting to the Superintendent - Asset Ops ICT, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the effective delivery of ICT services through robust incident, problem, change and service level management processes. The role is responsible for supporting business continuity, coordinating ICT service activities, managing ICT assets, supporting end users, and ensuring on-site ICT infrastructure continues to meet the current and future operational requirements of the business. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, outsourced service providers and technology partners to support service excellence and the safe, efficient operation of Gold Fields' assets.

About the role:

• Ensure deployments of changes to the ICT environment, such as software updates, hardware replacements, or configuration changes, are implemented in a controlled manner to minimise risk and disruption to mining operations.
• Fulfil requests for new ICT services or changes to existing services, such as provisioning new user accounts, setting up new devices, or granting access to software applications, in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist in defining and managing ICT service delivery levels in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure ICT services meet business and user requirements.
• Ensure on-site ICT services and infrastructure are robust and resilient, with plans in place for disaster recovery and business continuity to minimise downtime and ensure availability.
• Report on the performance and capacity utilisation of ICT systems to ensure they adequately meet current and future operational requirements.
• Ensure on-site ICT systems and data are protected against cybersecurity threats through appropriate controls, security assessments and data protection measures.
• Provide end-user support through helpdesk services and training on ICT tools and best practices to enhance productivity and minimise user-related incidents.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of ICT assets and manage configuration information throughout the asset lifecycle, providing regular updates to management.
• Supervise on-site Gold Fields ICT personnel, outsourced partners and associated contracts to support operating assets effectively.
• Provide relevant inputs from on-site asset requirements and availability to support IT financial updates.

About you:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• ITIL Foundation/Practitioner certification preferred.
• Deep understanding of ITSM frameworks (ITIL), incident/problem/change management, and service level management.
• Proficiency in ITSM tools and platforms.
• Skills in KPI/SLA definition, monitoring, and delivery.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Crisis management.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
