Role Details
Gold Fields is seeking an experienced Lead Specialist Finance Transformation to be based at the Corporate Office in Sandton, to support and drives finance transformation initiatives to improve financial processes, strengthen controls, and enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will provide project coordination, analytical support, and stakeholder engagement to ensure the successful delivery and embedding of finance transformation workstreams.

- Documents and improves finance processes, controls, and procedures
- Provides data analysis, reporting, and benefits tracking to support decision-making
- Supports risk, compliance, and governance requirements within transformation initiatives
- Facilitates stakeholder engagement, communication, meetings, and change adoption activities
- Prepare project documents, reports, and status updates for governance forums
- Assist in benefits tracking, KPI development, and performance reporting of initiatives
About you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
- Prost graduate qualification or professional designation (CIA, CRMA, CCSA, CFSA, IRMSA certification, SAICA/ACCA)
- Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in finance transformation or project management
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt, CAPM, Agile fundamentals certification advantageous
- Proficiency in financial systems, Excel, and data analysis/visualisation tools, with the ability to document processes and prepare reports
- Proficiency in ERP and finance systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) and reporting tools
- Knowledge of risk, controls, and quality assurance practices, including testing and UAT support
- Ability to proactively identifies issues, suggests solutions, and supports problem-solving
