The Opportunity:
Reporting to the OHST manager, you’ll lead and coordinate the Medical, Emergency Services and Security functions at our Agnew Gold Mine.
You’ll work closely with operational leaders and a diverse team to strengthen emergency preparedness, security practices and site response capability. You’ll have the opportunity to lead and develop the Emergency Response Team, coordinate emergency exercises and ensure compliance with regulatory and site requirements.
This is a permanent FIFO opportunity from Perth on 8 days on, 6 days off roster.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and engage the Emergency Response Team to ensure high standards of emergency services and security practices onsite.
- Plan and coordinate emergency exercises and mock emergencies in line with regulatory and site requirements.
- Maintain emergency response, security and compliance systems, procedures and documentation to support operational readiness.
- Manage security policies, site access procedures and investigations, while liaising with external agencies and emergency response stakeholders.
- Represent Agnew and Gold Fields at relevant mine rescue, regulatory, law enforcement and community emergency response forums.
- Manage departmental resources, including training, equipment, vehicles, consumables and maintenance.
- Provide regular reports, advice and updates to senior management.

What You’ll Bring
- Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response and Rescue
- Certificate IV in Health Care.
- Proven extensive experience leading Emergency Services and Security teams in an Underground mining environment.
- Leadership experience in an Emergency Services environment, with strong emergency preparedness and incident management capability.
- Certificate – Control a Level 1 Incident – Incident Management and Certificate III in Security Operations will be highly regarded.
- Experience with systems such as INX, Best Practice and Gallagher will be highly regarded.
- A growth mindset, with strong communication, leadership and relationship-building skills.
- Current manual driver's licence.
