Gold Fields wishes to pay its deepest respects to all their ancestors and members of their communities, past, present, in addition to their emerging leaders.

We have proven success in our commitment to managing environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues. We hope our commitment to managing ESG will see Gold Fields become the preferred gold mining company. This goes hand in hand with our allegiance to recognising the history and culture of Aboriginal peoples, and to better understand how to contribute to the preservation, protection and celebration of those cultures.
We understand that building greater awareness of these cultures enables us to better understand the potential impacts of our operations on Aboriginal communities, which is why we are committed to a process of listening and learning as part of our Reconciliation journey.
