Site Allowance
If you work a fully site based or residential roster you are entitled to a taxable Site Allowance of 6% of your base salary. This is paid monthly and continued while you are on paid leave (but not unpaid leave), and it attracts superannuation. It ends upon taking up a Perth based role, and is capped at $13,200 for D+ Band employees.
Health Insurance Allowance
All permanent employees are eligible for a fixed Private Health Insurance Allowance upon provision of proof of Private Health Insurance membership. Different allowances are offered to couples/families and singles.
Paid Parental & Partner Leave
We offer a competitive 18-week Paid Parental Leave cover to the primary caregiver upon the birth or adoption of a child. Furthermore, Gold Fields offers six weeks of paid secondary parental leave for the employee who is not the primary caregiver of a new born or newly adopted child.
Performance Bonus
Generous annual or quarterly bonuses are available depending on the employee’s position, in addition to individual and company performance.
Long Term Cash Incentive Plan

Employee Referral Reward Program
A $10,000 referral bonus is paid to employees who introduce Gold Fields to a candidate who fills a permanent position at any of our Australian locations, and has worked with us for six months.
Income Protection & Life Cover
Your future is protected with income protection insurance providing 75 per cent of your gross income for up to two years and life cover of one year’s salary.

Salary Sacrifice

Long Service Leave
Pro-rata long service leave after five years of service instead of the standard 10-year period is offered to all employees.
