Site Allowance

If you work a fully site based or Residential roster you are entitled to a taxable Site Allowance of 6% of your base salary. This allowance will be paid monthly, continue while you are on paid leave (but not unpaid leave), attract superannuation, cease should you move to a Perth based role, be capped at $12,000 for D+ Band employees.

Health Insurance Allowance

Upon provision of proof of Private Health Insurance membership, permanent employees are eligible for a fixed Private Health Insurance Allowance. Different Allowances are applicable to couples/families and singles.

Paid Parental & Partner Leave

Gold Fields offers a competitive 18-weeks Paid Parental Leave cover to the primary caregiver upon the birth or adoption of a child. Additionally, Gold Fields offers six weeks of paid secondary parental leave for the employee who is not the primary caregiver of a new born or newly adopted child.

Long Service Leave

Employees are eligible for pro-rata long service leave after five years of service instead of the standard 10-year period.
