The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Senior Engineer: Mine Planning, you will deliver short- and medium‑term planning and scheduling for underground operations to meet safety, production and cost targets aligned with Agnew’s strategic objectives. This role is offered on 8 days on 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth

What You’ll Do
- Develop accurate short to medium term mine plans that support operational objectives and LOM timeframes.
- Review economic evaluations for each mine design completed within the Engineering Team to ensure financial objectives are met under determined cut-off grades
- Ensure mine plans consider ventilation, infrastructure, DnB and paste fill needs
- Prepare stope designs, decline, escapeways and level plan layouts, and mining instructions aligned with operational mining schedule.
- Create infrastructure plans and schedules aligned with mining interactions and budget constraints
- Providing timely and accurate planning guidance for the delivery of the mining department production schedules.
- Collaborate across departments to support key projects.
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary Qualifications in Mining Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge of statutory safety requirements relevant to mining and ability to obtain WA FCMM Certificate (UG time completed).
- Strong underground engineering experience, ideally in gold.
- Proficiency in MS Office and mining software (Deswik CAD, Deswik Scheduler, Ventsim)
- Manual Driver’s license
