The Opportunity

Join our Mobile Maintenance team at Granny Smith as a Trade Operator, where you'll play a key role supporting the maintenance, servicing and repair of underground and surface mobile equipment. Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you'll assist with planned maintenance activities, equipment inspections and workshop operations while gaining valuable exposure to a modern underground mining fleet.

About the Role

• Assist maintenance trades personnel with servicing, inspections, and repairs of underground and ancillary mining equipment

• Support planned maintenance activities to help achieve operational and maintenance targets

• Identify and report safety hazards, equipment defects, and maintenance issues

• Assist with troubleshooting, component change outs, and workshop activities

• Maintain high housekeeping standards across workshop and maintenance areas

• Work safely and contribute to a positive team culture

About You

• Current WA Manual Driver's Licence

• Strong mechanical aptitude and a practical, hands-on approach to work

• Previous experience in manual labour, mining, maintenance, construction, agriculture, transport, or similar industries

• Ability to work safely in a physically demanding environment

• Dogging, Forklift, EWP and/or Mobile Crane tickets highly regarded

• A strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
