The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Leading Hand, you will be responsible for providing quality and timely preventative mechanical maintenance and repairs of the site supporting services facilities including (RO plants, bore fields and associated infrastructure, wastewater treatment plants) and other areas of the operation as required.

This role is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth.

About the role:

  • Complete scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting and repairs of equipment;
  • Report all safety and environmental hazards, incidents, damage, breakdowns and potential plant or equipment stoppages;
  • Support the efficient performance of site support service facilities by providing reliable and accurate maintenance knowledge, expertise and practical application, to minimise down time;
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping throughout workshops and wherever maintenance works is carried out.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification (essential)
  • Manual HR Drivers Licence
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office programs
  • Proven mechanical maintenance experience of a mineral processing plant, borefields maintenance, and/or water treatment plants
  • Solid interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
