People Officer (Organisational Effectiveness)

The Opportunity:
We have an exciting 6 month fixed term contract opportunity within our Organisational Effectiveness team within People.
In this role, you’ll provide coordination and administrative support across a variety of OE programs, including leadership programs, external coaching, study assistance, psychometric assessments, DEIB events, WIMWA sessions and respectful workplace training - ensuring smooth scheduling, logistics and communication.

About the Role:
- Coordinate workshops and events by managing schedules, room bookings, catering, resources, travel, attendee lists and facilitator communication.
- Maintain trackers, registers, and documents ensuring files are up to date, well‑organised and compliant.
- Work with vendors to arrange services, manage merchandise, printing and coordinate deliveries as needed.
- Process invoices, raise purchase orders in SAP and ensure timely payments and approvals.
- Support People team processes through data entry, reporting and general administration.
- Help maintain team systems and contribute to activities that support culture and organisational effectiveness.
What you will bring:
- Solid administrative experience with excellent organisational and coordination skills.
- Proactive and resourceful, and able work effectively under pressure.
- High level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Effective time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in computer software such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, and cloud-based tools
- Qualifications in HR, Psychology, Business Admin or similar are an advantage but not essential.
