The Opportunity:
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the establishment of our new Central Training Facility and support the Gold Field’s transition to a more structured, learner‑centred training model.
As a Facilitator, you will deliver engaging, high‑quality Day 1 ready training that translates learning into practice, builds workforce capability, and drives consistency across operations. You’ll play a key role in strengthening learning culture, reinforcing safety and performance standards, and supporting continuous improvement in how training is delivered.
This role is initially being offered on a 12 month fixed term contract.

What You’ll Do
- Deliver engaging, structured Day 1 ready training that builds workforce capability and confidence
- Facilitate interactive learning experiences that encourage participation, discussion, and practical application
- Ensure consistent training delivery aligned with organisational standards, procedures, and learning objectives
- Support learners through coaching, feedback, and guided practice, assessing understanding and competence
- Adapt facilitation approaches to suit diverse learner needs, experience levels, and learning styles
- Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment, supporting the effective operation of the Central Training Facility
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in training, teaching, or a related discipline desirable, we are seeking a min. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Previous experience in the mining industry with a sound understanding of mining safety systems and compliance requirements
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and facilitation techniques
- Experience delivering competency‑based workplace training
- Ability to assess learning effectiveness and adapt delivery for diverse audiences
- Knowledge of instructional design principles and continuous improvement practices
- Confident, engaging, and learner‑focused, with a passion for building capability and confidence
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-based training environment.
