The Opportunity

Reporting to the Supervisor: Surface Production, you will be responsible for the effective execution and supervision of Surface Mining related issues when required to enable achievement of budgeted production targets, meeting all quality standards including cost, safety and environment.

This role is offered on an 8/6 roster for FIFO candidates or on a 4/4/6 roster for those residential to the Kalgoorlie or Kambalda area.

 

Up to six months’ free, company-provided accommodation may be available for eligible candidates from under-represented groups (for example, women in mining and Indigenous Australians) relocating to Kambalda for permanent roles. Accommodation includes basic furnishings and utilities and is subject to availability and housing policy, with support available to assist with transitioning to a lease after the initial six-month period. Eligibility and final terms will be discussed during the recruitment process

Skills and Qualifications

  • Current HR Driver’s License and S26 Certification
  • Can safely operate Komatsu and Liebherr Excavators, CAT D10T2 Dozers and CAT 785 Trucks.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role in a surface production environment, including performance development
  • Knowledge and application of relevant statutory obligations
