Assistant Environment

• 8 days on / 6 days off roster, FIFO from Perth
• Hands-on environmental role at Granny Smith Gold Mine
• Field-based role with exposure to monitoring, rehabilitation & drone work

The Opportunity:

You’ll work closely with a diverse team to contribute, collaborate, and deliver environmental outcomes at Granny Smith Gold Mine. You’ll make a meaningful impact by supporting the Environment team to ensure the mine meets its environmental obligations.

You’ll have the opportunity to develop practical on-site experience, working across multiple departments and supporting projects such as land rehabilitation, topsoil mapping, and seed collection.

What You’ll Do

• Environmental monitoring, including collecting and sending water and soil samples

• Conduct environmental inspections and maintain records

• Use drones to capture imagery and assist with data collection

• Support waste management, fauna handling, and pastoral activities

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in fieldwork or mining operations

• Ability to work outdoors in remote conditions and varying weather

• A valid manual driver’s licence
