The Opportunity

As a Trade Operator, you’ll play an important part in assisting with mechanical servicing, maintenance and repairs of mobile and ancillary equipment, helping the team meet operational targets safely and efficiently.

About the Role

• Assist maintenance trades personnel to achieve budgeted maintenance targets by carrying out scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting and timely repairs on mobile and ancillary equipment
• Report all safety hazards, environmental hazards, incidents, damage, breakdowns and equipment stoppages to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor
• Contribute to the efficient operation of the mobile maintenance team by supporting daily activities across both surface and underground workshops, and applying sound maintenance knowledge and practical skills
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in workshops and all areas where maintenance activities are performed

About You

• Hold a valid WA manual driver’s licence
• Possess dogging, EWP, forklift and mobile crane tickets (desirable)
• Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
• Have previous manual labour or physically demanding work experience suitable for the roles requirements
