Role Details:

Reporting to the Underground Supervisor, you will be responsible for the operation of underground haul trucks as directed in a safe, effective, and efficient manner to meet operational requirements.

 

This role is available on 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 nights off roster and is FIFO from Perth or DIDO from local surrounding communities.

About the role:

  • Ensure Zero Harm is achieved by actively identifying and reporting hazards using the site hazard reporting system
  • Attend all designated rostered days, arrive fit for work and punctually for shift start times
  • Work collaboratively with other team members
  • Demonstration of excellent housekeeping standards.  Ensure awareness of location within the mine and radio calls are maintained to ensure a continual smooth truck cycle is maintained. 
  • Attend all pre-starts and report all activities accurately to Pitram including loading location and nature of material

 

About you:

  • High commitment to safety in the workplace
  • Interest in commencing a career within the mining industry
  • Exposure to machinery and care of mobile mechanical equipment would be an asset
  • Valid WA C Class license (minimum requirement)
  • Apply First Aid ticket is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
