Ready to take the wheel in a high-performing underground mining team? We’re on the lookout for skilled and safety-focused Underground Truck Drivers to join us at the iconic Granny Smith Gold Mine.

The Opportunity

As an Underground Truck Driver, you’ll be responsible for safely and efficiently hauling ore and waste underground, playing a critical part in keeping production on track.

You’ll be supported by experienced leaders and a strong team culture, with opportunities to further develop your capability in underground operations.

About the role:

• Operating underground haul trucks in a safe and efficient manner
• Transporting ore and waste safely and meeting production targets and cycle times
• Attending and conducting pre-start inspections and basic equipment checks
• Working collaboratively with underground crews and maintaining strong safety and housekeeping standards
• Attending all designated rostered days, arriving fit for work and punctually for shifts

What we’re looking for: 

• A strong commitment to working safely and teamwork
• Sound understanding of machinery and care of mobile mechanical equipment.
• Great communication and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn new roles and develop within the underground crews
• A valid WA C Class manual driver’s licence
• Dangerous Goods Security Card and Working at Heights (or willing to obtain)
