Underground Truck Driver

• FIFO from Perth | 8/6 days, 7/7 nights rotating roster at Granny Smith

• Underground mining experience as a Nipper and/or Truck Driver required

The Opportunity

As an Underground Truck Driver, you’ll be responsible for safely and efficiently hauling ore and waste underground, playing a critical part in keeping production on track.

Reporting to the Supervisor Underground Production, this is a fantastic opportunity for experienced underground Nippers and/or Truck Drivers to step into a stable, long-term role with a strong team culture that values your contribution.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Underground mining experience as a Nipper or Truck Driver
• Sound understanding of machinery and care of mobile mechanical equipment
• A strong commitment to working safely, teamwork and problem-solving
• Willingness to learn new roles and develop within the underground crews
• A valid WA C Class manual driver’s licence
• Dangerous Goods Security Card and Working at Heights (or willing to obtain)
• Able to provide a satisfactory National Polick Clearance

About the Role:

• Operating underground haul trucks in a safe and efficient manner
• Transporting ore and waste safely and meeting production targets and cycle times
• Attending and conducting pre-start inspections and basic equipment checks
• Working collaboratively with underground crews and maintaining strong safety and housekeeping standards
• Attending all designated rostered days, arriving fit for work and punctually for shifts
