The Opportunity
The Apprentice Data and Voice Communications is based a Gruyere Gold Mine and will undertake structured training and on-the-job learning to develop the skills required to install, test, maintain, and troubleshoot telecommunications and data systems.
This role supports the reliable operation of communication infrastructure critical to mining operations, while progressing toward completion of the UEE30420 qualification.
This role is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off roster FIFO from Perth.

Skills & Qualifications
- Current manual driver’s licence
- Sound communication and basic computer literacy skills
- Genuine interest in the Electrical trade
- Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Pre-Apprenticeship) highly regarded
- First Aid certificate advantageous
About the Role
- Help install, maintain, and test communication systems and cabling across site
- Assist with setting up equipment like radios, routers, and Wi-Fi
- Learn basic fault finding and carry out routine maintenance
- Follow safety procedures and keep accurate work and training records
- Work as part of a team while completing on-site and off-site training
