The Opportunity

Start your career with a leading global gold producer while completing a nationally recognised Apprenticeship. You will be responsible for gaining and developing the required skills to successfully complete the requirements of an apprenticeship in Mechanical Fitter trade.You will receive extensive on the job training as well as formal TAFE training to support your development throughout the journey. This role is based at Gruyere Gold Mine and is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off roster FIFO from Perth.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Current manual driver’s licence
  • Sound communication and basic computer literacy skills
  • A genuine interest and general understanding of the Mechanical Fitting trade
  • Successful completion of a Certificate II in Engineering would be highly regarded

  • Report hazards and incidents using site safety systems
