The Opportunity:
You’ll work closely with leaders and frontline teams to coordinate Emergency Services & Security (ESS) initiatives across the site, encompassing emergency response, health and medical services, and security. In this role, you’ll support the effective delivery of ESS programs and compliance processes, strengthen operational readiness, and contribute to a proactive and resilient safety culture. You’ll have the opportunity to grow and lead by contributing, collaborating, innovating, and developing capability within the ESS Department at Gruyere Mine.

What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and support Emergency Services & Security (ESS) programs across the site, including emergency response, health and medical services, and security
- Support compliance with statutory requirements, site standards, and Group frameworks
- Facilitate training, coaching, and mentoring to strengthen emergency preparedness and safety leadership capability
- Monitor and report on ESS performance, identifying trends, gaps, and continuous improvement opportunities
- Promote visible safety leadership and actively engage the workforce in ESS systems and controls
What You’ll Bring
- Cert IV Emergency Response Coordination
- Certificate IV Health Care
- Cert III Emergency Response and Rescue
- Cert II Security Operations
- Meets Minimum Requirements for Statutory Supervisor Appointment under Schedule 26 of Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022.
- Experience in coordinating HSES or ESS programs within mining, industrial, or heavy industries
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills to influence teams
