Gruyere Gold Mine, a Gold Fields and Gold Road Resources Joint Venture (50/50) is located in the Yamarna Greenstone Belt in Western Australia. Gruyere was commissioned in 2019 and is one of Australia's largest and lowest cost gold mining operations boasting a plant production of 300,000+ ounces per annum with an enviable production profile in excess of 10 years.

 

Role Details:

Reporting to the Senior Reliability Engineer, you will provide quality and timely preventative instrumentation maintenance and repairs of the processing facilities and other areas of the operation as required.

This role is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off roster (with a rotating night shift roster) and is Fly in Fly out from Perth.

About the role:

  • Preventative maintenance through scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting, and timely repair of plant equipment;

  • Provide reliable and accurate maintenance knowledge and expertise to minimise down time;

  • Working knowledge of all task instructions and procedures to adhere to when carrying out maintenance tasks;

  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping through workshops and wherever work is carried out;

  • Recording all relevant information into Gold Fields CMMS- AMT/SAP as required.

 

About you:

  • You will hold a WA Electrical Licence

  • Ideally a Certificate IV in Instrumentation

  • Hold proven Instrumentation maintenance experience of a mineral processing plant, preferably gold processing plants

  • Good Computer skills in Microsoft Office Programs

  • Extensive knowledge of process technologies and equipment

  • Valid WA Drivers Licence
