Gruyere was commissioned in 2019 and is one of Australia's largest and lowest cost gold mining operations boasting a plant production of 300,000+ ounces per annum with an enviable production profile in excess of 10 years.

About you:
Along with your collaborative and team player approach, you will have:
- An Electrical trade certification and WA A-grade Electrical License.
- A HV Operator ticket (desirable).
- Cert III or IV Instrumentation (desirable).
- Current Senior First Aid / CPR & LVR certificates (desirable).
- A Manual C-class Australian driver’s licence.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain electrical infrastructure for the plant as per the weekly schedule.
- Identify and recommend plant improvements to reduce cost and down time.
- Actively demonstrate behaviours in alignment to Gold Fields Values and lifesaving commitments.
- Ensure that all statutory and organisational, operational, reliability and safety requirements are always adhered to.
- Complete inspections to identify faults and raise quality notifications in SAP.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and repair electrical plant equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct general repairs and calibration of industrial instrumentation (we will train and develop you).
- Logically and systematically solve problems by implementing sound fault finding processes.
- Conduct HV switching safely
- Assist with PLC investigation and repairs.
- Ensure all electrical work activity is carried out in accordance with AS/NZS3000 and site safety standards and procedures.
