The Opportunity:
You’ll work closely with a diverse team to contribute to operational excellence for our Maintenance & Processing Departments at Gruyere Gold Mine.
Reporting to the Senior Engineer: Reliability, you will be responsible for providing reliability engineering support to maintenance and operation teams. You will assist and contribute to problem identification, making recommendations and developing strategies and tactics that cost-effectively improve plant and equipment reliability and maintainability with the view to extending the life of all assets.

What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams in daily activities to provide practical engineering support.
- Develop and maintain fixed plant maintenance and reliability strategies to maximise equipment availability and minimise unplanned downtime.
- Lead root cause failure investigations and defect elimination to prevent repeat failures in critical plant assets.
- Analyse short- and long-term plant performance and reliability data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Review inspection and maintenance reports for fixed plant assets and raise work orders in SAP to address reliability risks.
- Lead reliability improvement initiatives for processing plant equipment from identification through to implementation.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience in reliability and maintenance of critical gold processing assets, including crushers, conveyors, mills and pumps.
- Proficient in reliability engineering tools, including RCM, PMO, and root cause failure analysis.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a growth mindset and a proactive, responsible approach.
