The Opportunity:

You’ll make a meaningful impact by driving business improvement and operational efficiency across our Asset Optimisation team at our Gruyere site. Your expertise will help unlock asset value by enhancing systems, processes, and organisational performance — supporting site leaders, project owners, and operational teams to deliver sustainable, datadriven improvements.

 

This role is being offered as a 12 month fixed term contract.

What You’ll Do

  • Facilitate and lead business improvement projects from pipeline to delivery as a BI SME and internal consultant.
  • Implement business improvement practices and change management across departments, supporting local leadership and site strategies.
  • Co-facilitate BI learning sessions and provide coaching to change leaders and sponsors.
  • Contribute to site strategy development and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Support the installation, effective use, and auditing of the Management Operating System with area leads.
  • Identify process gaps and opportunities for optimisation at a transactional level to drive efficiency.
  • Role model our core values and create a culture where every team member feels seen, supported, and valued.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Significant experience in a senior role focused on business improvement, systems, and organisational change.
  • Strong communication skills with proven ability to engage, influence, and solve problems.
  • Sound understanding of Project Management principles (qualifications desirable)
  • Six Sigma certification (green or Black Belt).
  • Advanced statistical analysis capability and proficiency in statistical software.
  • Experience working on an operational mine with management operating systems (desirable).
