- 8 days on 6 days off or 4 days on 3 days off FIFO ex Perth roster
- Lead sustaining capital projects at our Gruyere Gold Mine
- Engineering degree with mineral processing plant operation and projects experience
The Opportunity:
You’ll work closely with a diverse team to deliver sustaining capital projects, drive project performance, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and budget requirements. Through collaboration and innovation, you will contribute to the ongoing success of our Engineering Projects Department at our Gruyere Site.

What You’ll Do
- Manage the assigned portfolio of projects from initiation through design & execution to close-out.
- Manage and mentor assigned project engineers
- Develop project & engineering scopes, capital expenditure submissions and technical documentation.
- Develop and monitor project, reporting, schedules, budgets, risks and performance to ensure successful outcomes.
- Support the management of commercial arrangements and relationships between Gold Fields and suppliers.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, contractors and suppliers to drive project success.
- Champion safety, quality and environmental standards across all project activities.
- Role model our core values and create a culture where every team member feels seen, supported, and valued.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Process or Civil.
- Post graduate qualification in business or project management would be highly regarded
- Extensive displayed experience in mining, mechanical or civil operations in a similar role with good understanding of technologies and equipment
- Current driver’s licence.
- Financial management experience including formulation and adherence to approved budget would be advantageous
- Project/cost management training would be an asset
- Demonstrated level of competency in relevant software applications including Microsoft Office and SAP
