Superintendent OHS

• Permanent FIFO role 3x4/3 8/6 roster with 6% site allowance
• Newly created Superintendent – OHS position at Gruyere Mine
• Two-tiered performance bonus & shares + private health allowance
• Tertiary qualification in Work Health & Safety or similar with relevant experience required

You’ll work closely with leaders and teams across the site to foster a strong safety culture where people feel supported, empowered, and confident to act safely. You’ll make a meaningful impact by influencing behaviours, building capability, and shaping an environment where everyone looks out for themselves and each other. You’ll have the opportunity to lead and grow by contributing, delivering, collaborating, innovating, and developing for our OHS Function at Gruyere Mine.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support teams to embed safety values and behaviours across site

• Coach and mentor leaders to build confidence and capability in safety leadership

• Monitor, report, and analyse OHS performance, using insights to improve engagement and culture

• Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System.

• Promote visible leadership and positive engagement with employees on OHS initiatives

What You’ll Bring

• Tertiary qualification in Work Health & Safety or related field and/or Diploma Qualification

• Extensive experience in OHS leadership roles within mining, industrial, or heavy industry environments

• ICAM Lead Investigator and Lead Auditor Qualification (highly desirable)

• Strong people skills, with ability to influence, build relationships, and inspire teams
