The Opportunity:
In this role you will lead the safe efficient and timely delivery of a portfolio of construction projects, ensuring compliance with approved scope, quality, schedule and site standards. You will work closely with contractors and stakeholders to drive construction readiness and disciplined project execution as part of our Engineering Projects department at our Gruyere mine.

What You’ll Do
- Drive construction readiness including, methodology, work pack scope development, mobilisation, site establishment, workfront planning, execution and project handover.
- Work with contractors to finalise construction methodologies and conduct site inspections to ensure work is completed safely, meets quality standards, and critical controls are effectively implemented.
- Support safe project execution through the development and review of CRAW’s, JHAs, permits, lift plans, and any other construction related requirements.
- Collaborate with operational stakeholders to coordinate shutdowns, manage simultaneous operations (SIMOPS), and minimise impacts to production.
- Lead by example, championing our values and fostering an inclusive, respectful, safe, and high-performing team culture where everyone can thrive.
What You’ll Bring
- Section 26 Statutory Supervision
- Electrical Trade qualification and Manual Driver’s Licence
- High risk work licences will be beneficial
- Demonstrated experience within a similar Supervisory or Leading Hand level position
- Practical problem-solving ability with the confidence to make decisions in the field and escalate issues early. Inquisitive and willingness to enquire and learn.
- Good understanding of mine site work management processes, including permits, JHAs, risk assessments, isolations, traffic management and change management, would be beneficial.
- A growth mindset, with strong communication, responsibility, and relationship-building skills
