Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor at Gruyere, you will be responsible for providing quality and timely preventative mechanical maintenance and repairs of the Fixed Plant infrastructure, facilities and other areas of the operation.

This role will work 4 roster cycles of 8 days on 6 days off and 1 roster cycle of 7 nights on 7 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth. 

In this role, you’ll play a key part in contributing to the safe and efficient operations of the Processing Plant by delivering planned preventative maintenance in a safe and effective manner, supporting the achievement of maintenance targets. 

You’ll maintain strong understanding of site procedures and work instructions, completion of all safety requirements and ensure the completion of day to day SAP entries including parts requests and accurate closure of work orders. You’ll take pride in maintaining a clean, well organised workshop and work areas, contributing to a safe and professional work environment

About you: 

You will bring previous fixed plant maintenance experience within a processing plant environment, along with a recognised mechanical trade qualification. You’ll have a strong understanding of maintenance best practice, and the knowledge and skills to ensure our process plant is running safely and reliably. A practical, safety focused  approach, together with a sense of pride in the quality of your work will be required. 

You will hold a current WA C Manual Driver’s License, CN crane, Dogging, Basic rigging,  EWP, WAH, Confined Space and forklift tickets.
