The Opportunity:
This is a unique opportunity to help shape the Gold Field’s new training framework from the ground up.
As a Training Advisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in establishing and operating a best‑practice Central Training Facility, supporting a seamless onboarding and training experience from day one. You’ll contribute directly to the Training Improvement Project, support the rollout of Verification of Competency (VOC) standards, and help build a high‑quality, centralised training environment that enables workforce capability and compliance.
This role will initially be offered as a two-year fixed term contract.

What You’ll Do
- Prepare and maintain the Central Training Facility to ensure training is delivered safely, professionally, and efficiently
- Coordinate training schedules, bookings, and logistics through the LMS (SAP SuccessFactors)
- Ensure training rooms, equipment, PPE, and materials are available, functional, and fit for purpose
- Maintain accurate training records, attendance, and competency data within the LMS
- Welcome and induct trainees, creating a positive onboarding and learning experience
- Support Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and maintain role-based training matrices
- Support the development, implementation and ongoing management of Verification of Competency (VOC) processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimise the training facility and training systems
What You’ll Bring
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or working towards)
- Solid strong computer and literacy skills
- Experience with training needs analysis, competency-based frameworks, and adult learning principles
- Knowledge of VOC processes and training compliance requirements
- Confidence using Learning Management Systems (ideally SAP SuccessFactors)
- Strong organisation, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills
- A proactive mindset with a passion for improving training quality, capability, and outcomes
