Contracts Advisor

• Develop and manage goods and services contracts
• Perth based, hybrid working arrangement on a 9-day fortnight

The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a service oriented contracts professional to provide contract management support across Gold Fields Australia’s mining operations in the new year. In this end-to-end role, you’ll lead the process from tender through to contract execution – driving negotiations, overseeing implementation, and ensuring seamless management.

What You’ll Do

• Identify cost-saving and value-adding opportunities in all agreements.
• Develop and manage key spend categories in line with company policies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to shape category management strategies.
• Prepare contract documentation, award recommendations, and handle variations.
• Maintain strong contractor relationships to reduce commercial risk.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong communication with ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
• Experience in contract management, ideally in mining, resources, or construction.
• Strong track record in sourcing, tendering, negotiation, and managing contracts end-to-end.
• Exposure to village services, air charter, logistics and transfers, capital works/projects or similar will be beneficial 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP Ariba and SAP MM advantageous
