The Opportunity:

As the Manager – Planning, Scheduling, and Master Data, you are the single point of accountability for the end-to-end Work Management framework. You will define the standards that underpin our maintenance excellence—from master data strategy and CMMS integrity to high-level KPI frameworks.

 

By ensuring 'the right work is done at the right time,' you will provide the visibility needed to prioritise maintenance risk and empower our teams to meet cost, reliability, and production targets across the GFA asset base.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the end‑to‑end Work Management process, setting policies, standards and KPI frameworks to ensure consistent maintenance execution across all assets.
  • Provide technical direction to planning teams, ensure weekly schedules are realistic and resourced, and define governance for shutdown planning and critical path control.
  • Act as custodian of CMMS master data, ensuring equipment hierarchies, BOMs and maintenance strategies enable accurate reporting and high‑quality decision‑making.
  • Facilitate routines between Operations, Maintenance and Supply to remove systemic barriers, ensure accountability and maintain alignment to the integrated maintenance plan.
  • Align schedules and shutdown scopes with budget commitments, provide insights into labour efficiency and expenditure, and drive productivity through continuous improvement and planner development.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Tertiary Engineering degree or Australian‑recognised trade qualification, supported by post‑graduate studies in Asset or Project Management (desirable).
  • Extensive experience in senior Asset Management or Mobile Maintenance leadership roles within the resources sector.
  • Comprehensive understanding of how mobile maintenance, mining and processing operations interact to drive performance.
  • Proven ability to lead and transform diverse technical and operational teams, with deep knowledge of safety frameworks and a commitment to visible safety leadership.
