Reporting to VP: Capital and Projects, you will be accountable for the delivery and execution of a portfolio of major capital projects across the business. This role ensures the people, processes and systems are effective and efficient in delivering investment outcomes that are approved at the investment gates.
This role is offered on a permanent full-time basis and will require global site travel to support major capital projects across our local and international projects and operations.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintain and provide guidance on project standards and procedures for project delivery across the group.
- Ensure that all projects have an appropriate execution strategy by the end of the Pre-Feasibility study, and that project execution plans are in place prior to investment sanction.
- Collaborate with site, function, and corporate leaders to ensure that all functional requirements are delivered on during the execution phase.
- Identify and effectively communicate execution risks associated with our project to key stakeholders (prior to sanction), and that projects are effectively identifying and managing risks throughout the execution phase.
- Collaborate with the project services group to ensure that there are appropriate governance programs in place to provide assurance during the execution phase.
You will have:
- Extensive experience in mega project delivery ideally in the mining industry
- Degree or master’s in project management or construction management (desirable)
- Ability to communicate in English (advanced level for verbal and written)
- Portfolio management experience
- Effective cross business stakeholder management
- Underground and Open Pit start-up experience
