Gold Fields has an opportunity for a dynamic and energetic Senior Advisor People to join the St Ives team on an 8 days on 6 days off roster Fly in Fly out from Perth.
Role Details
Reporting to the Manager People, you will be responsible for providing functional Human Resources support across the St Ives site to assist in maintaining a motivated workforce that is committed to the success and values of Gold Fields Australia.
This role will play a key part in delivering our 2025 people plan including rolling out our new programs, initiatives and supporting our leaders build effective teams aligned with our values and purpose.

This role is offered as a 12 month max term contract with the potential for permanency.

About the role:
-
Implement key HR projects and strategies, ensuring clear communication and support is provided. Contribute to design and implementation of employee engagement activities including but not limited to onboarding, development planning, diversity & inclusion, and wellness programmes.

Provide advice, support and coaching to leaders in the areas of employee relations, policies, procedures, and performance management, ensuring tools and resources provided are consistently applied.

Assist in the development, review, implementation and monitoring of all Human Resources procedures and systems to create consistency within the People & Engagement function and monitor adherence and compliance to legislation.

Foster a positive climate for an engaged, diverse, and inclusive workforce to drive a performance-based culture.

Facilitate the development and implementation of diversity and retention strategies.

Consistently demonstrate and reflect behaviours, actions, and attitudes in line with Gold Field’s Vision, Values and Code of Ethics.
You will have:

A Tertiary degree qualification in Human Resources or related discipline

Demonstrated Human Resources experience, within the resources sector and a fly in fly out and/or residential environment is desirable

Exposure to employment legislation, investigations, and performance case management

Ability to work autonomously, balance multiple priorities and communicate with influence

Create and collaborate effective and respectful working relationships with leaders and employees at all levels of the business

Valid Manual Driver’s License
