The Opportunity:
You’ll have the opportunity to influence our Engineering departments across all Goldfields Australia operating assets. Reporting to the Senior Manager Engineering, the role ensures that maintenance strategies, execution, and assurance activities comply with applicable legislation, Australian Standards, and regulatory expectations.

What You’ll Do
- Develops and governs maintenance strategies for legislated assets, including but not limited to classified plant, pressure vessels, tanks, and pressure relief systems, cranes and lifting equipment, and other assets subject to statutory inspection and certification
- Holds full accountability for legislative compliance of maintenance activities across all operating assets
- Acts as the Appointed Person for classified plant and other legislated equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Provides forward-looking input into sustain capital and asset replacement programs, particularly where assets approach end-of-life
- Directly interfaces with specialist vendors, inspectors, and subject matter experts delivering statutory maintenance activities
- Works closely with planning, maintenance execution, and reliability teams to coordinate statutory maintenance activities

What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering and manual driver’s licence.
- Appointment or eligibility as an Appointed Person under relevant legislation and standards
- Extensive experience in statutory maintenance, classified plant management, and regulatory compliance in heavy industry or mining in Australia
- Deep understanding of Australian Standards, inspection regimes, and statutory certification processes
- Proven ability to interpret specialist technical reports and translate findings into executable actions
- A growth mindset, with strong communication, responsibility, and relationship-building skills.
