Senior Field Assistant: Exploration

• FIFO from Perth | 2/2 roster at Yamarna Exploration Camp (Gruyere Project)
• Be part of active exploration across the Yamarna gold belt
• Lead field teams and near-mine exploration activities

The Opportunity:

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving new discoveries across one of Australia’s most exciting emerging gold provinces, as part of Gold Fields’ Yamarna Exploration Team at our owner-operated Gruyere Mine.

Skills & Qualifications

• Current HR driver’s licence and Forklift License
• Experience coordinating exploration activities in a remote environment
• Strong field leadership or supervisory experience
• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems

About the Role

• Oversee day-to-day exploration activities and in-field leadership
• Operate remote fly camps and main logistics
• Manage sampling programs, core yard and earthwork contractors
• Ensure QA/QC compliance across sampling and assaying
• Maintain strong safety, environmental, and cost awareness
