Senior Specialist Geophysics

We are seeking a technically outstanding Senior Specialist – Geophysics to play a pivotal role in driving discovery across our global Greenfields portfolio.

With a USD $50 million Greenfields exploration budget and a world-class gold portfolio backed by a strong Board and Executive, this is a career-defining opportunity to influence exploration outcomes at scale through enterprise-level geophysical leadership.

The Opportunity

This role sits at the heart of discovery. As a senior technical authority, you will lead the design, execution, quality assurance, and interpretation of geophysical programs across diverse geological terrains. Your work will directly inform target generation, prospect ranking, drill design, and capital deployment decisions.

Working closely with exploration geologists, regional teams, and the broader technical leadership group, you will ensure geophysical datasets are translated into robust geological understanding and defensible exploration decisions.

Our focus is Greenfields exploration across high-potential jurisdictions, currently centred on North America, South America, and Australia — our exploration heartlands. You will operate across this global footprint, shaping how we image, interpret, and prioritise opportunity.

Your Impact

You will provide enterprise-level geophysical leadership across the portfolio — influencing which projects advance, which are deferred, and where capital is best deployed.

From early-stage data reviews through to advanced 3D inversion modelling and drill targeting, you will ensure our geophysical programs are technically rigorous, commercially disciplined, and aligned with exploration strategy.

• Lead end-to-end planning, design, procurement, and management of geophysical surveys (ground, airborne, downhole, remote sensing)

• Integrate geophysical, geological, and geochemical datasets into robust target concepts

• Deliver high-quality modelling, inversion, and interpretation to refine and prioritise drill targets

• Provide authoritative technical input into portfolio ranking and capital allocation

• Maintain strong governance, QA/QC, contractor oversight, and cost discipline

• Champion safety and best practice across all field programs

Your Experience

You are a highly credible geophysicist with strong systems thinking and the ability to translate complex physical property responses into coherent 3D geological interpretations.

You bring:

• A BSc (Honours) in Geophysics, Physics, or related Geoscience discipline (postgraduate qualification advantageous)

• Proven experience designing and delivering geophysical programs in mineral exploration

• Advanced capability in data processing, modelling, and 3D inversion across potential field, EM, DC/IP, and seismic methods

• Strong integration skills across geophysics, geology, and geochemistry

• Experience operating in remote and technically complex environments

• The ability to clearly communicate technical findings to multidisciplinary and executive audiences
