Role Details:
Reporting to the Superintendent: Exploration at St Ives, you will be responsible for contributing to the capacity of the company to grow and develop through the provision of quality assurance and quality control services to the mineral resource team, ensuring that all information entered and captured in the geological database is accurate and reliable.

This role can be offered as residential in Kambalda or Kalgoorlie on a 5 days on, 2 days off, 4 days on, 3 days off roster.

About the role:
- Assist stakeholders to facilitate the timely accomplishment of tasks or assist rectification of quality issues;
- Prepare and distribute QA/QC reports;
- Apply due diligence in the input of data, monitoring and reconciling of sample weights and sample quality to ensure a high level of consistency in information integrity;
- Ensure the overall integrity of data by regularly reviewing the quality of sampling performed by personnel in the Core Farm, Drill Rigs and Mine Geology teams, in conjunction with responsible Geologists/Supervisors.
About you:
- Prior experience in the gold mining industry, specifically related to Database, drilling, sampling and QAQC functionality
- High level competency in application of Microsoft Office as well as experience with acQuire, Datamine, QAQC
- Experience with Laboratory processes and sample/assay management
- Exposed to training in QAQC compliance related to gold deposits
- Manual Driver’s Licence
