Join our St Ives maintenance team as Electrical Leading Hand and support our Technicians.
Role Details:
Reporting to the Coordinator: Electrical, you will be responsible for daily team management, planning and supervising high quality maintenance and installation of electrical infrastructure on a wide variety of equipment as used in the gold processing industry.

This role offered is a residential (Kalgoorlie or Kambalda), 8 days on 6 days off roster or FIFO. Bus transportation is offered to and from site for residential candidates and relocation assistance will be offered to the successful candidate if required.

About the role:
-
Lead the day-to-day activities of the electrical team inclusive of contractors in a cost-effective manner, assuring safety and awareness performance targets, aligned within company targets.

Provide reliable and accurate maintenance knowledge and expertise to minimise production down time.

Provide ongoing leaderships and mentoring for the Electrical team. Assist in training and development plans for your team.

Assist in fault analysis through RCA investigations and recommendations to improve operations.

Liaise with suppliers and contractors to source required materials labour, and knowledge to minimize down time.

Demonstrate full compliance with the OHS and Environmental Management System standards by participating in TOPs, Take 5 initiatives, regular meetings, investigations, and training.
About you:
-
Demonstrated leadership, performance development experience within a mining environment.

WA A-Grade Electrical License.
-
HV switching ticket and experience in this field is essential.

Cert IV in Instrumentation.

Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor appointment.

WHS risk management modules BSBWHS414 & BSBWHS411
-
SAP Fiori & Hydrogen experience for maintenance management.

Allen Bradley Rockwell Automation experience highly desirable.

Short Term Planning and shutdown experience would be desirable.

Solid computer skills in Microsoft Office Programs

Valid manual Driver's license
