Surface Mining Supervisor

• 4 days, 4 nights, 6 off roster at St Ives Gold Mine
• FIFO from Perth or live locally in Kambalda or Kalgoorlie area
• Lead and develop a high-performing surface mining team

The Opportunity:

In this role, you will supervise and deliver surface mining operations as part of our Surface Mining team at our owner-operated St Ives mine.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Extensive experience operating machinery in an open pit mine in a senior capacity
• Proven performance management experience with the ability to coach, mentor, and positively influence teams.
• Hold a DMIRS Section 26 statutory supervisor accreditation
• Current manual driver’s licence

• Lead and support crews to work effectively together and collaborate with other teams and stakeholders
• Run effective pre-starts and handovers, ensuring clear communication across shifts
• Coach and supervise the team to safely deliver operational outcomes in line with Gold Fields’ values
