Trade Assistant

Location: St Ives Gold Mine, WA
Roster: 8 days on / 6 days off (Residential – Goldfields region only)
Department: Mobile Maintenance

About the Role:

As a Trade Assistant reporting to the Supervisor: Mechanical (Mobile), you will:

• Support mobile and ancillary equipment maintenance through timely supply of parts, tooling, and consumables.
• Assist in preventative maintenance by ensuring tool stores are managed and compliant.
• Maintain strong housekeeping standards across stores, workshops, and staging areas.
• Report safety, environmental hazards, and delays in parts supply to supervisors.
• Provide support to ensure maintenance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

• WA manual driver’s licence (valid)
• Forklift ticket (essential)
• SAP or maintenance system knowledge (preferred)
• Experience with warehousing / parts store operations
• Familiarity with Komatsu, CAT, Sandvik parts systems (desirable)
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Understanding of tooling compliance (highly desirable)
