Trainee Processing Operator

Our Opportunity:

Rare opportunity exists to join our St Ives Mine processing operation as a Trainee. Trained by experienced Operators, Leaders and Trainers you will be responsible for assisting with operating plant equipment in a safe, productive and efficient manner to maximise plant performance.

This role is offered on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract working a 4 days on, 4 nights on, 6 days off roster. Thereafter you will have the opportunity to apply for permanant Proces Operator opportunities on site.

Successful candidate is required to be residential in Kambalda or Kalgoorlie.

About the role:

• Comply with the all organisation Health, Safety and Environmental standards

• Build your knowledge on each section of the process plant (the role includes working on a high plant as well as walking up & down multiple flights of stairs)

• Identify machinery that may require maintenance or repair

• Monitor use of reagents

• Administration including the use of SAP and other IT systems

• Ensure the plant and surrounds are always kept clean and tidy

About you:

• Current Drivers License

• Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal

• Intermediate computer skills

• Ability to problem-solve
