The Opportunity:

In the role, you will lead and coordinate the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of a portfolio of construction projects, ensuring compliance with approved scope, quality, schedule, and site standards. You will work closely with contractors and stakeholders to drive construction readiness and disciplined project execution as part of our Engineering department at our Gruyere mine.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Current driver’s licence.
  • Bachelor Engineering degree or trade qualification.
  • Section 26 certified.
  • Experience in a similar role with construction management, contractor management and project management.
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership and coordination of construction activities across a portfolio of mining and processing plant projects.

 

About the Role:

  • Lead the safe delivery of construction projects across a diverse portfolio.
  • Manage and coordinate contractors and site teams of up to 50 personnel.
  • Drive construction readiness including work pack scope development, mobilisation, site establishment, workfront planning, execution, and project handover.
  • Monitor project construction performance against scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and development for project supervisors and construction teams.
  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes and operational handovers.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain construction management systems for planning, scheduling, progress tracking, and reporting across portfolio construction works.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve construction safety systems and risk controls, including facilitation and oversight of CRAW/TBRA and construction risk assessments.
