The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Senior Electrical Engineer, you will support the reliability and availability of plant operations by coordinating electrical engineering projects and maintenance activities across facilities and infrastructure. The role ensures all work is delivered in line with company standards and relevant legislative and statutory requirements, to meet current and future operational demands.

Skills & Qualifications:
- PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers)
- Familiarisation with TCP/IP, Modbus, ProfiNet, Hart
- Digital Control Systems
- Root Cause Analysis/5 WHY’s
- Electrical Machines: transformers, motor’s, etc
About the role:
- Support production targets through timely task completion and teamwork.
- Interpret plans, drawings, and schedules to achieve planned outcomes.
- Assist with downtime investigations, root cause analysis, and spares optimisation.
- Support electrical projects and maintenance for reliable plant performance.
- Apply knowledge of transformers, motors, VSDs, protection systems, and power distribution.
- Diagnose power quality, harmonics, faults, transformer, and grid stability issues.
- Contribute to electrical design and compliance with Australian Standards.
- Maintain safety, reliability, and statutory compliance across all work.
About you:
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in a similar role with knowledge of HV reticulation, fixed plant equipment and infrastructure services
- Sound knowledge of legislative and statutory requirements
- Experience in fixed plant operation including LV distribution, PLC’s and SCADA, LV Drives & Instrumentation
- Yokogawa Centum VP and MicroStation CAD experience highly desirable
- Experience developing maintenance strategies for HV and LV assets
