Role Details:

As a result of an internal promotion, we are seeking a suitably experienced Electrical Instrumentation Technician for our Gruyere operation, north of Laverton. Reporting to the Senior Electrical Engineer, you will provide quality and timely preventative maintenance, installations and repairs to the electrical and instrumentation infrastructure across the processing facility and other areas of the operation as required.

 

This role is offered on 8 days on 6 days off roster (with a rotating night shift roster) and is Fly in Fly out from Perth.

About the role:

  • Preventative maintenance through scheduled inspections, servicing, and timely repair of plant equipment.
  • Application of reliable and accurate maintenance expertise to safely minimise down time.
  • Maintain working knowledge of task instructions and procedures to adhere to when completing all tasks
  • Maintain a high level of housekeeping through workshops and all work areas.
  • Recording all relevant information into Gold Fields SAP as required.

 

About you:

  • WA Electrical Licence
  • HV Switching ticket – proven experience and competency in High Voltage Switching Operations
  • Certificate IV in Instrumentation
  • Valid WA Drivers Licence
  • Current LVR/CPR certification
  • Working at Heights, EWP and confined space tickets


You will bring proven instrumentation maintenance experience within a mineral processing environment, ideally in gold processing plants. You have strong computer skills, particularly in CMMS (SAP) and Microsoft Office and demonstrate extensive knowledge of process technologies, instrumentation and equipment.
