Role Details:

We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and results-driven Processing Manager to lead a high-performing team in successful delivery aligned with business plans whilst overseeing the daily operations of our processing plant at Agnew Gold Mine.

 

Reporting to the General Manager, this pivotal role is on the Senior Leadership Team, and will be responsible for driving operational excellence and ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance.

 

This role is offered on a 3 x 4 days on 3 days off, 1 x 8 days on 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Ensure that resources, systems and processes are in place to achieve budgeted production performance, including tonnes treated, gold produced and plant recovery through effective planning and monitoring of activities whilst ensuring statutory compliance is maintained as a minimum.

  • Drive operational and capital improvement projects in the processing department to maximise return on investment.

  • Manage and oversee the utilisation of assets to maximise return, including the application of new procedures, processes and technology where appropriate.

  • Maintain accreditation with the International Cyanide Management Code (ICMC) and the metallurgical accounting systems in accordance with AMIRA P754 metals accounting principles.

  • Identify, analyse and manage risks within your area of responsibility through implementing effective mitigating strategies in a timely manner.

 

Ideally, you will have;

  • Significant operating and management experience in a gold processing environment

  • Recognised tertiary qualifications in Metallurgy or relevant discipline is essential

  • Extensive knowledge of process technologies and equipment

  • Extensive knowledge of metallurgical test and survey procedures would be highly regarded

  • Post-graduate qualifications in business, management or environmental studies would be desirable

  • Demonstrated knowledge of ICMI cyanide code would be advantageous to your application
