Role Details:
Gold Fields Australia is currently seeking a Coordinator: Safety and Training to oversee training across Agnew Gold Mine. Reporting to the Lead OHS, this role shall contribute to the development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of all Safety and Training Systems and Standards, in support of the company’s objectives and targets.

About the role:
-
Build consistency, and professionalism and develop stakeholder trust in the department by coaching, mentoring and continually communicating appropriately to ensure their full understanding of their role and commitment to service delivery.

Ensure the delivery of quality training - source and coordinate the internal and external training programs including regular auditing, review and assessment of training material and its effectiveness within own operational area.

Coordinate the induction process and oversee that area's training requirements.

Contribute to maintaining WHS Legislation and ISO45001 quality standards by maintaining accurate, current training records and addressing non-conformances promptly.

Demonstrate leadership in the completion of safety activities in line with GFA standards and be actively involved in safety and training activities and inspections in all areas of the operations.
About you:

Certificate IV Assessment and Workplace Training or higher
-
Qualification in OH&S or a closely related field

Lead Auditor qualifications
-
Experience with Investigation and Risk Facilitation

Strong Training system maintenance and process design experience
-
Demonstrated understanding & application of relevant legislation.

Exposure to Underground mining, Processing, and maintenance processes

Intermediate level in Microsoft Office applications
