Role Details:
Reporting to the Coordinator: Safety and Training, you will be responsible for the provision of the Agnew Safety management systems and training functions for both Underground Mining and basic of maintenance.
This role is offered on either 8 day on 6 days, or an 8 day on 6 days off / 4 day on 3 days off roster. This is Fly in Fly out from Perth or Drive in Drive out from the Goldfields region.

About the role:

Promote and maintain a high level of compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies and programs

Ensure Training Needs Analysis is current for all Mining and Processing functions and roles
-
Ensure area-specific induction training materials are up to date and delivered to required personnel and visitors

Provide input to the Department's Learning Management System (LMS) and accurately maintain training records
-
Assist with the implementation of a National Competency-based training and assessment program, including the provision for regular re-assessment verification of competencies and ongoing evaluation of personnel

Participate in incident investigations, analyse findings and make recommendations as required.

Assist with hazard identification, risk assessment and critical risk management processes

Review procedures Training manuals and standards, ensuring all aspects of these are understood and clearly defined

Conduct audits and inspections ensuring compliance with Site and Department standards
About you:

Minimum certificate IV TAE40116 Assessment and Workplace Training
-
Valid C class manual driver's licence
-
Working at heights RIIWHS204D or above.

Proven experience in developing site-specific procedures

Experience in Training management programs such as SuccessFactors LMS
-
Proven experience in Underground Mining background working with mining equipment

Demonstrated understanding & application of relevant legislation

Intermediate level in Microsoft Office applications and document construction & review processes
