Technician : Mechanical (Mobile)

Role Details

The underground mobile maintenance team at Agnew Gold Mine have an opportunity for a HD Fitter - Underground to join the team.

Reporting to the Leading Hand Mechanical Mobile, you will be responsible for carrying out preventative and scheduled maintenance and breakdowns on Surface and Underground equipment as directed by your supervisor.

This role is offered on 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off roster and is FIFO from Perth.

About you:

• Australian recognised Heavy Mobile Mechanical Trade Qualification

• Previous experience in mechanical maintenance in an underground environment and knowledge of mining technologies and equipment

• Creation of Workorders/Backlogs for defects and future repairs in the requisitioning of Parts line.

• Experience with Atlas M7C drills and MT65 trucks, CAT R2900 & 2900XE loaders and Sandvik development drills DD421 & DD422i, Volvo 120F IT's and Normet Charge Wagons is preferable.

• High Risk license with Forklift, RB, DG, EWP

• Valid manual driver's license

• Automotive Air Conditioning License is desirable.

• Previous SAP experience is desirable
