Boilermaker - Processing

Reporting to the Coordinator: Maintenance you will be responsible for providing quality and timely preventative mechanical maintenance and repairs of the processing department and other areas of the operation as required.

This role is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth or Drive in Drive out from the Goldfields region.

About the role:

• Ensuring the achievement of budgeted maintenance targets by practising preventative maintenance through scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting and timely repair of processing equipment.
• Maintaining a working knowledge of all task instructions and procedures
• Completing all administrative processing requirements associated with maintenance duties, such as requisitioning of parts and materials, processing of maintenance orders and recording of labour time.
• Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping throughout the maintenance workshops and wherever maintenance work is carried out.
• Being available from time to time to be on the plant as an operator/maintainer within the plant

About you:

• You will have:
• Australian Trade Qualifications in Fabrication/Boilermaking, welding with inner/outer shield welding wire.
• Competence with arc air gouging and lancing
• Valid driver’s licence - Truck MR/HR, F class would be advantageous but not essential
• Previous experience working in processing maintenance in a process environment is essential; with previous experience working on underground buckets and trays
• Coded Welder Qualification, Crane, Dogging, EWP, Working at Heights, Forklift tickets is advantageous
